Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Business Manager - RPTO to oversee and manage the operations and expansion of Remote Pilot Training Organization's (RPTOs). The ideal candidate should have a strong background in the education sector, combined with operational expertise in managing RPTOs, a sound understanding of financials, and hands-on experience in opening and scaling new centers. The Business Manager will play a key role in driving the growth of the RPTO network, ensuring high-quality training programs, and enhancing financial performance across multiple locations.


Key Responsibilities:


• RPTO Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of existing RPTO centers, ensuring operational efficiency, adherence to aviation training standards, and financial sustainability.

• New Center Setup: Lead the setup and launch of new RPTO centers, including site selection, regulatory compliance, staffing, infrastructure development, and process implementation.

• Financial Management & Budgeting: Take full responsibility for the financial performance of RPTO centers. Develop budgets, monitor cash flows, control costs, and ensure that each center meets or exceeds revenue targets.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all RPTO centers are fully compliant with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) guidelines, local regulations, and industry standards for drone and remote pilot training.

• Training Quality Control: Work closely with training teams to ensure that the quality of training programs is maintained across all centers. Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance training effectiveness.

• Team Leadership & Resource Management: Lead, manage, and develop a team of RPTO coordinators, trainers, and operational staff across all locations. Foster a high-performance culture and ensure all teams are aligned with business objectives.

• Client & Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders including regulatory authorities, corporate clients, educational partners, and industry associations.

• Market Expansion: Identify new markets and opportunities for RPTO growth, including geographical expansion, new training programs, and corporate partnerships. Lead the business development efforts to drive expansion.

• Reporting & Analytics: Regularly analyze operational data, financial reports, and KPIs to track performance, identify improvement areas, and make data-driven decisions.

• Process Improvement & Innovation: Continuously assess operational processes, recommend and implement improvements to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.


Qualifications:


• Experience: 12-15 years of experience in operations management, business development, or a senior role within the education or aviation industry, with a focus on RPTOs or training-related operations.

• Financial Acumen: Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, cost control, P&L management, and financial forecasting.

• RPTO Expertise: Solid experience in handling RPTO operations, including a deep understanding of the regulatory requirements and operational complexities associated with remote pilot training.

• Leadership Skills: Proven track record of managing teams, leading cross-functional projects, and delivering results in a multi-location environment.

• Knowledge of Aviation & Drone Industry: Familiarity with drone industry regulations, DGCA requirements, and aviation training standards in India or similar markets.

• Education: A degree in Business Administration, Aviation Management, Education, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced qualification is preferred. Desired Attributes:
